Looking Forward
It is important to reflect on events of the past, to inform ourselves and make proper decisions. I am however, at a point where I am ready and excited to look forward.
I have spent the last 2 years trying to work a job that wasn't working for me, 4 years before that completing a degree unfocussed (having other priorities besides a career) and before that, enjoying myself and getting good grades at school, but lacking motivation to push myself to work hard. I have spent the last 4 months working at a local ski resort in search of a different experience and in search of space. Upon returning home I have been overwhelmed by the life I had so eagerly left. This space that I had however, has given me greater insight, clearer goals and the motivation to work hard so that I may live my best life. I am ready for change and life is ready to change for me, hence why I am very excited to be looking forward.
I want to share this process online to stay on track and engaged. It will also become a journal that I can use to reflect when comes the time.
I have a few messes in my life that I am slowly cleaning up. They are not big messes, but little by little it does add up and I am looking forward to a cleansed lifestyle, open to opportunities. I hope you can relate.
